The Muniya Foundation values the trust placed in us by data subjects (“you”, “your”, “user”, “subscriber”) and therefore we assure that we follow the highest standards of privacy guidelines to protect the information shared by you with us.
This privacy policy describes the usage of information provided or collected by the Muniya Foundation and/or its subsidiary(ies) and/or affiliate(s) (collectively referred to as the “Company”), which operates various websites, mobile apps and other services including but not limited to the delivery of information and content via any mobile or internet-connected device or otherwise (collectively the “Services”). We follow this privacy policy in accordance with applicable laws in the places where we operate. In some cases we may provide additional data privacy notices specific to certain services or regions. Those terms are to be read in combination and are part and parcel of this policy.
Please keep in mind that when you provide information to us on a third-party site or platform (for example, via our applications such as social media login), the information we collect through those third-party sites linked with our applications is covered by this privacy policy, and the information the third-party site or platform collects or may collect is subject to the third-party site or platform's privacy practices. All capitalized terms that have not been specifically defined herein shall have the same meaning as provided under the Terms of Use. This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction and together with the Terms of Use applicable to the Muniya Foundation.

Information Automatically Collected While Browsing
Do Not Track: The website and the Muniya Foundation currently do not process or respond to “Do Not Track” requests/signals which some internet browsers have the ability to send out.
Log File Information: We automatically collect limited information about your computer's connection to the internet, including your IP address, whenever you visit our website(s), application or services. Your IP address is a number that lets computers attached to the internet recognise where to send data — for example, the pages you viewed. We automatically receive and log information from your browser, including your IP address, your computer's name, your operating system, browser type and version, CPU speed and connection speed. We may also collect log information from your device, including your location, IP address, your device's name, device serial number or unique identification number (e.g. UDID on your iOS device), your device operating system, browser type and version, application version, operator name, screen size, CPU speed and connection speed.
Information Obtained From Other Sources
We may receive information about you from other sources, combine it with the information we collect through our Services, and use it in accordance with this policy to help us improve and personalise our Services.
Usage of Our Mobile Applications
This policy shall also apply to our mobile applications that are available in countries governed by a data protection regulation. These mobile applications have been updated to make them compliant with the relevant regulations, and a few of the services have been discontinued on certain platforms in those countries. You are urged to update to the most current version of certain apps listed and/or to delete certain apps that we no longer provide access, service or support for, so that we do not collect or store information of users located in those countries. If you use an older version of these apps and/or access discontinued services, then we may collect, store and process your information. In such a case we would not be responsible or liable for such collection, storage and processing of your information.

Children's Privacy
The Muniya Foundation is not intentionally designed for or directed at persons less than 16 years of age. The Muniya Foundation does not knowingly permit any person who is under 16 years of age to register with the services or to provide any other personally identifying information. If the Muniya Foundation becomes aware that any personally identifiable information of persons less than 16 years of age has been collected without verified parental consent, then we will take the appropriate steps to delete any such information and notify the parent. However, we consider it the responsibility of parents to monitor their children's use of our services. Nevertheless, it is our policy not to collect and process any personal information from children below 16 years of age or to offer to send any promotional materials to persons in that category. Should a parent or guardian have reason to believe that a minor has provided the Muniya Foundation with personal information without their prior consent, please contact our customer support team to ensure that the personal information is removed.

We operate globally and may transfer your personal information to individual companies of the Muniya Foundation, affiliated companies or third parties in locations around the world for the purposes described in this privacy policy. Wherever your personal information is transferred, stored or processed by us, we will take reasonable steps to safeguard the privacy of your personal information. Additionally, when using or disclosing personal information transferred from the European Union, we use standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or adopt other means under European Union law for ensuring adequate safeguards.

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. All information gathered is securely stored within the Company-controlled database. The database is stored on servers secured behind a firewall on the cloud; access to the servers is password-protected and is strictly limited. However, as effective as our security measures are, no security system is impenetrable.
